When Desire Begins to Speak

Listen Now!

"Some people love the light in you, but flinch at the fire it comes from... But I'm done apologizing for the fire in me. It's not rage. It's not recklessness. It's resurrection. ... I didn't come here to be soft and safe. I came here to burn honest. And the ones meant for me won't run from the heat. They'll build something with it".

When Desire Begins to Speak

At first, desire does not arrive loudly.

It comes as a subtle interruption—

a question you keep circling,

a feeling that won’t flatten itself

to fit the life you were handed.

You were taught to mistrust this feeling.

To call it selfish.

Dangerous.

Too much.

Not enough.

But desire was never the problem.

Disconnection was.

Desire is not craving.

It is orientation.

A quiet map etched into your nervous system

pointing toward what wants to live and be birthed through you.

When you feel it,

it is life tapping the inside of your ribs,

asking for permission.

You were told that wanting breaks your bond

with the sacred—

that the apple was a mistake,

that curiosity led to exile.

But what if the rupture was not desire,

but shame layered on top of it?

What if desire was the moment

the divine moved closer—

not farther away?

Your desire does not separate you from life.

It is life,

learning how to speak in your unique voice.

When you deny it, it hardens.

When you listen, it softens into guidance.

When you live it,

it becomes a universe.

You may notice other women

living what you want.

This is not evidence of lack.

It is proof of possibility.

Let envy dissolve into reverence:

Thank you for showing me what can be embodied.

Thank you for reminding me of myself.

Desire does not ask you to rush.

It asks you to be honest.

To stay curious about the deeper “why”

beneath the wanting.

And as you listen,

desire will refine itself—

from impulse into integrity,

from ache into alignment.

This is not indulgence.

This is devotion.

Your desire is not asking to be taken from you.

It is asking to be taken seriously as an appointment with the divine.
